TheCollege functions from its own permanent campus located at the heart of Nagaon district. At present, the College is having 2 (Two) nos. of two-storyed buildings with modern facilities. The college campus is self contained, providing an ideal environment with facilities including well furnished Classrooms, Seminer Hall, Moot Court and well equipped library with more than 10,000 Books.
The College has also modern Computer Laboratory with networking and broadband internet facilities. This will enable the students to keep themselves abreast with the day to day development in legal environment.
The College Campus is Wi-Fi enable and as such students as well as Faculty members can avail Internet and networking access anywhere in the campus.
The College has hygienically maintained canteen and cafeteria. The cafeteria becomes a piece of attraction for relaxation and for snacks. The cafeteria has exclusive variety of Indian and Chinese dishes in an affordable rate for the students.
Students belonging to S.C. and S.T. communities are eligible for scholarship from the Govt. Students belonging to minority communities can also obtain Merit-cum-Means Scholarship awarded by Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt, of India. The Ministry of HRD and the University Grants Commission has taken special interest with regard to promotion of higher education in the NER and Students are awarded "Ishan Uday" Special Scholarship Scheme for North Eastern Region. In addition to above, the SurajitBaruah Memorial Trust every year awards the Tipper of NLC with cash and citation.
The methodology adopted at NLC is essentially learner-centered, strengthening students in reflective and critical thinking skill along with value-orientation. It consist of intensive / extensive classroom sessions that are participative and interactive which is reinforced with clinical training in law and supplemented by individual as well as collective projects, assignments, seminars and presentations. Students are continuously evaluated for assimilation and rewarded for their performance.
