 Miss RASHMI REKHA BORAH Designation : Assistant Professor Qualification : B.A.(PHIL), LL.B (C&C), LL,M (CRIM LAW) Email : rashmirekhaborah65@gmail.com Achievement : Rashmi Rekha Borah has completed her Bachelor of Arts from Nowgong Girls’ College with Honours in Philosophy in the year 2018. Thereafter, she pursued her Bachelor of Laws from prestigious Nowgong Law College and completed the degree in 2022 with Honours in Crime and Criminology. She completed her Master of Laws from the PG Department of Law, Gauhati University with specialization in Criminal Law during the session 2023–2025. Her dissertation work was conducted on the topic “Cyber Child Pornography: A Socio Legal Analysis.” She joined Nowgong Law College as an Assistant Professor on 4th August, 2025 and has been serving there till date. During her teaching career, she has been entrusted with teaching various papers including Criminal Psychology, Prison Administration, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Women and Criminal Law, Administrative Law, Constitutional Law, and Equity & Trusts. She also possesses NCC ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificates with A grade and participated in RDC 2017. In addition, she has completed Diploma in Computer Application and actively participated in Intellectual Property Awareness programmes, Green Revolution Global Certification Programme, and training programmes on Development Schemes and Social Protection. She has also participated in the Workshop on Criminal Trials and Digital Evidence under India’s New Criminal Laws organised by the Department of Law, Gauhati University on 5th May, 2026. She is enthusiastic and disciplined in academic and research activities and remains committed towards legal education, social development, and environmental awareness. |
